	Just Be's philosophy is about trying to create time and space for the individual to help regain balance of their mind, body and spirit. Aromatherapy is the art and skill of using essential oils to help restore this balance in the body. It is a form of natural healing which has been around for thousands of years. Aromatherapy can be used for the relief of pain, to care for the skin, to alleviate tension and fatigue and to invigorate the entire body. The oils are readily absorbed through the skin and inhaling the oils alone has a positive effect to the brain and nervous system through stimulation of the olfactory nerves.
	The essential oils used are aromatic essences extracted from plants, flowers, trees, fruits, bark, grasses and seeds with distinctive therapeutic, psychological, and physiological properties, which improve well-being and prevent illness. Some of these oils have antiseptic properties; some are antiviral, anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving, antidepressant and expectorant. Some have therapeutic actions such as to stimulate, promote relaxation, aid digestion and some have diuretic properties.
